Compressed into a seven-day time span, the story of the Craigslist Killer just kept unfolding: three vulnerable women, each cornered in a hotel room, one of them murdered when she resisted. Who would be next? The images of the suspect are jarring: an all- American handsome young man who could be the guy next door, clean-cut and casually dressed. Using hightech investigative tools and old-fashioned shoe leather, detectives from the Boston Police Department track down their man and arrest the unlikeliest of suspects: twenty-three-year-old Philip Markoff, a brilliant, wellregarded medical student at Boston University who is engaged to be married on the beach at sunset to a beautiful and trusting fiancée. A native New Yorker, Najee began his iconic career playing clarinet, saxophone and flute in his hometown Jamaica, Queens New York. Honing his skills as a flutist he additionally studied with Harold Jones at the Manhattan School of Music. Upon their return to New York, they were invited to tour with the songstress Chaka Khan through his association with Melisa Morgan who at the time was a background vocalist. His sophomore album "Day By Day" also achieved platinum. These albums were followed by "Tokyo Blue", "Just An Illusion” and “Share My World”, all of which attained gold sale status. Jonathan Shapiro is a multi-talented writer-producer who was born and raised in Los Angeles and whose talents extend into law and government. Among his television credits are serving as an executive producer on “Justice” and “Just Legal,” as a supervising producer on “Boston Legal” and “The Practice” and as co-executive producer on “Life.” Additionally, he wrote multiple episodes for each of these series. Previously, Shapiro was chief of staff to Lt. Governor Cruz Bustamante and counsel for the law firm of O’Melveny & Myers. He also has served as a federal prosecutor for the U.S. Department of Justice Criminal Division in Washington, D.C. and the Central District of California. Shapiro was appointed by California Chief Justice Ronald George to serve a two-year term on the Commission for Impartial Courts, Task Force on Public Information and Education. In 2010, the California State Senate appointed him to a four-year term as a member of the California Little Hoover Commission Government Oversight. He also continues to teach as an adjunct professor at USC Gould School of Law.
